I have spent all afternoon trying to organise a week's worth of nightly meals for less than $50.. here is what I have come up with so far.. I could definitely improve on this by making slow cooked stews with rice, etc.. But that is still to come...I searched the Aldi website for prices as a start as they are cheaper with a lot of their consumables... Note the block of cheese which cost $6.99 is spread over a number of meals, ie pizza.  Total for this is $47.42... I'd say make it up to $50 exactly and include MORE veges.. or exchange one of the meals for this yummy treat

   | Satay Chick/Veg |
 |
   | 500g chicken | $       5.00 |
   | 500g satay sauce - EASTERN CLASSICS ® Stir Fry Sauce - Satay or Sweet Chilli | $       1.79 |
   | bag veges 1/2 | $       0.80 |

I'm still in the process of refining my $50 limit, but this is a good start!... Then I'll have to add cereals and lunches to complete my full grocery budget... Planning is the best thing!
